Different Opinions

In our thinking groups we looked at a text that has different opinions. The issue was, should we have prizegiving? We looked at the vocabulary and found some definitions. We talked about our own opinions. We wrote down one reason and one we shouldn't  have prizegiving.

Poem - I Hear

I Hear

When I think of school

I hear

Friends talking,

School bells ringing.

People shouting out, “Goal!”

Pals saying, “Hello there.”

Mates shouting as they run outside.

People’s chrome book keys are clicking.

Buddies singing together,

There, just outside the top window.

As if it had never ceased to be.

But only needed listen to

A quiet class doing reading for 20 minutes, floating free.

Here is the original poem. I have written my own version.
