Today I was doing the SLJ. Today's activity is Optical illusion. I do 4 of optical illusion.

We were given a task to buy $100 worth of gifts for our family. It is not that hard.

SLJ Week 1 Activty 2

This week for the summer learning journey we have completed our second activity. This activity was about reading a text and filling in a template. In the template you had to write who the characters were, what part they played in the story and what the outcome was for them. The second activity was to complete a comic,where you had to watch a video that had no words in it, and we had to write a comic and write what we think the actors are saying. I worked with Florence to get this completed.

SLJ Savenger hunt

 

Today is the first day of the Summer Learning Journey. LS2 worked with Room 5 to help them with their first Summer Learning journey activity. This activity was about scavenging for item in our class for materials that we'll need for the upcoming Summer Learning Journey. We really enjoyed this as we were able to find all the materials. I worked with Florence in LS2 to get this activity completed.

Chunky Challenge

 

This week our chunky challenge our prefix is fore our root word is fathers. My favourite task was the forefathers the prefix, root word. My first thing about this task was the word forefathers. My last thing about this task was the sentences. This is a fun task because you will be good at spelling.

Today I was looking at an advertisement with toothpaste. This task was fun because it can help you with looking after your teeth. This task was easy because you have to describe the toothpaste. 

Have You Ever?

 

This week I was doing a poem called have you ever? This task was fun because I was doing a metaphor. My task was a metaphor. A metaphor is what I wrote on my DLO. The moon is a gleaming star. This task was about what a metaphor is. This is a task to learn more about metaphor and a not using like or as.

Te Marama

 

This week we learnt about a poem called Te Marama. Te Marama is the moon. I was leaning about what Te Marama is. Our task was to find the word in maori but to understand the definition. We have to find a picture because we had to match the word. Last we had to find what the maori word and find what the  english word. I found the maori word and the english word interesting because I didn't know each word, and I learnt something new. My favorite thing about this task was the Te Marama and the moana. I had fun because I like learning about maori words.

Celebrity Endorsement

 

This week we looked at how famous people are paid to support products they may not even use. My task was where he was and what his name was and what he product. I did Ronaldo and how he was dress ready to play soccer and what he looks like. My favorite thing about this task was the picture because he is my favourite soccer player. This task was fun because I like clothes and how he is dress. Last I had to say that he is fit and healthy and his signature.

My first thing about this task was the word polytechs. My last thing about this task was the sentences. This is a fun task because you be good at spelling.

Today I was doing Te reo Maori with Fire Odie and I got them all right. This is my te reo Maori.

Art Colouring Book

 L.I to experiment with colours.

This morning we tried one of this year's Summer Learning Journey activities. The purpose of this task was to experiment with colours by mixing colours from the original palette with pop colours. This allowed us to recolour famous painting or images of landmarks around the world. I liked this activity because you can copy or you can make it yourself. Mine was called Roses by Vincent van Gogh back in 1890.

Look Down!

They were as scared as giant pandas. Two days ago Milhouse and Sideshow Bob were on the plane on the wing. They were safe until… one of the boys looked down and he said “Where am I, am I on a plane?” he was scared, but then he saw Sideshow Bob.

One hour later he looked down and saw a bomb. He had no food and no water. He had a heart attack. Sideshow Bob went to see Milhouse. He went to check his pocket to see if his fork was in there. Then he went to sleep and fell off the plane wing.

After that his friend got him back on the plane wing because he was about to fall off. Then his shoes and socks fell off the plane wing and fell to the ground. It was cold because his jacket broke. He had nothing. He saw a pair of socks in the plane and he was scared as he saw the bomb going as fast as a flash.

Next he found his bag and saw food. He was so happy but it had a timer. He was like a donkey that didn’t want to eat. He looked at the bag and the timer was finished and they ate it all and got special powers and they flew down. Then looking down and seeing that both of them were flying. He threw the bomb into space. But he exploded Mars.

He went home and he felt proud of himself for saving the plane.

2020 Blogging

Today I was doing statistics about my number of posts and a month. My best months were September and June because we didn't have lock down. My worst month were May because we were trying to do blog posts. My 2nd worst was August because I was talking to much. My 2nd best is November because I did hard work. I did 18 more blogs to get 100.
