We did a multiplication task to understand how numbers work.
First we did a group of unkown amount of counters. We took a photo on our slide and put arrows of how many groups are in a 1 digit number.
Then we put numbers next to our arrows so we know how much is there. We did our multiplication and find out what is the unkown amount.
Next we wrote about what we did and how we did it. We also put another label for how many groups and how much we did.
Last we did a 3 more sildes and did four, three and nine. We wrote all about the big groups with our unkown amount.
I liked this task because it can help me with my learning.
